Dynamics Ax – AIF – Dot Net App totally Integrated wtih AIF Web Services


 

Here I am going to give the example of Dot net application which is integrated with AIF – Web Services.

Till now I had blogged so many applications which are integrated with AIF –Web Services, how this application is different from other applications.

Yes….!  Wink  There is a difference in this application…. How see below …..  Hot

This example illustrates the creation of Customer information into Dynamics Ax.

1)      In this application I am using two web services called, AxdCustGroup and AxdCustomer.

 

2)      For creating the customer, Cust Group is mandatory, here all the available Dynamics Ax CustGroups getting through AxdCustGroup web Service.

 

3)      Displaying the CustGroup Names in the combo box for selecting the cust group values.

 

4)      Based on the selection of CustGroup name, passing CustGroup Id to AxdCustomer Service object for creation of new customer.

 

5)      Taken the consideration of mandatory fields for creation of customer.

    HiThanks for the Sample. While running this application in VS 2008. i’m getting below error .There was no endpoint listening at http://ban-srv-ax.digimakerbengaluru.com/MicrosoftDynamicsAXAif50/customergroupsservice.svcthat could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details.Anyone Please help.Thanks,Maria

    Hi Maria,That service URL (http://ban-srv-ax.digimakerbengaluru.com/MicrosoftDynamicsAXAif50/customergroupsservice.svc) link is in my case.In ur case u need to generate the service for the same from Ax-Client and u need to refer that URL in ur VS application.Please go through this link how to setup and generate the AIF web service.http://paruvella.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!F2EC589E221A4DB0!114.entryBest Regards,Santosh Kumar Paruvella.

    Hi Rembrandt,Might be this object AxdCustomer Customer, don’t have proper information to invoke the create method on customer service.Please check it out, are you passing correct information to the customer service for creating the new customer.Best Regards,Santosh Kumar Paruvella.
